The Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Brunch

This next shoot was for a preview for an upcoming art sale at Sotheby’s auction house on New Bond Street. The pieces of art on display by famous artists such as Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst.

This was a rather relaxed occasion where instead of your usual canapé and champagne reception (although I’m not knocking it!) a gorgeous ‘Brunch’ was laid out for guests to enjoy. ‘Brunch’ is the genius amalgamation of breakfast and lunch- pure bliss. The concept of brunch can, in part, be traced back to the upper-class British tradition of hunting luncheons. As a break for the hunters, men and women gathered for decadent early lunches, complete with an assortment of meats, egg dishes and plenty of adult beverages.

Accompanying the food were sensational flower arrangements by ‘By Appointment Only Design’. The flowers were absolutely out of this world and stretched from the front of the building right through the reception area and up the stairs to the brunch.
